Family member Terry Cassil and family friend Jake Campbell were also present for the cleanup but are not shown.
Leon's sister Omie Johnson, Jamestown, said, “My sister Dawn contacted the highway department and we adopted a highway in honor of Leon. We met up Sunday afternoon and the girls took one side (of the highway) and the boys took the other side. It took us three hours to pick up the entire two miles. It was a beautiful afternoon to spend with my family and two wonderful friends. Thanks to all for a job well done!”
